lolo heimuli - HEAD coach
BLG's Head Coach Lolo Heimuli has been a coach in the combat sports for nearly 40 years now, first starting his coaching career back in 1987. Lolo has trained the who's who of combat sports today from the likes of Ray Sefo, Eugene Bareman, And Mark Hunt to Pro Boxers like Shane Cameron, Hemi Ahio, and Junior Fa. There aren't many people who Lolo hasn’t coached in the last 40 years. He has attended the Olympic, the Commonwealth Games, Oceania Games, AIBA World Championships, And South Pacific Games he is one of only 3 Coaches in New Zealand to currently hold a AIBA STAR 3 RATING

oscar batucan - kickboxing coachOscar has been a loyal friend and fighter of Balmoral Lee Gar, First joining the gym back in 2002. Oscar has been a longtime member and close friend of Balmoral Lee Gars, Oscar trained alongside many of Balmoral Lee Gars champions and was a sparring partner to many World Champions. Whenever you see Lolo in the corner you will most likely see Oscar beside him. Oscar is an IT team leader outside of the gym and is awesome at what he does.

ROdney heimuli-roundsRodney Heimuli has been immersed in combat sports his entire life, growing up in the gym under the guidance of his father, renowned coach Lolo Heimuli. With a deep understanding of the fight game, he plays a pivotal role in New Zealand’s combat sports scene as the Team Manager at Balmoral Lee Gar and Secretary of the South Auckland Boxing Association. Rodney is dedicated to managing fighters, developing talent, and organising high-level fight events, ensuring athletes have the support and opportunities they need to succeed in the ring.
